Rev. Elizabeth Rowley Hogue is the Spiritual Leader and Senior Minister of the Awakening Ways Center for Spiritual Living in Atascadero, California.
Elizabeth has been an ordained minister since 2020. She lives in Grover Beach with her husband and their beloved Yorkshire Terrier, Roxy. Her journey into lifelong ministry after being ordained was shaped by the unique challenges of leading a spiritual community through a global pandemic, offering comfort and guidance during a time of great uncertainty.
Elizabeth’s spiritual leadership path began in earnest in 2007 when she became a Licensed Practitioner under the mentorship of Dr. David Bruner at the Center for Spiritual Living, San Jose. She went on to become a Licensed Minister in 2012 and, in 2018, assumed leadership of the Central Coast Center for Spiritual Living in Templeton.
In 2021, Elizabeth embraced a divine calling to unite two spiritual communities, merging them into what is now the Awakening Ways Center for Spiritual Living. This transformational process fulfilled a long-held vision of bringing the two vibrant communities together, Divinely supported with ease and grace.
Having resigned from her corporate IT Management position on January 3rd, 2025, she began serving as a full-time minister on January 6th, 2025. Rev. Elizabeth is passionately devoted to uplifting consciousness, activating spiritual principles, and guiding others to deepen their connection with the Divine. With the 2025 theme of “All In,” she is fully committed to embodying this principle in her ministry and life, inspiring others to live with faith, purpose, and love.
